Lights on Main 2026

Lights on Main is Mullica Hill's biggest night of the year. On the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Harrison Township closes Main Street to cars and lights the town's living Christmas tree beside Old Town Hall. It's free.

Around the tree you'll find:

• live music on two stages
• 15 or more food trucks
• horse-drawn carriage rides
• Santa and Mrs. Claus, plus activities for kids
• a pop-up Christmas creators' market
• open houses at the shops along Main Street

The Harrison Township Recreation Commission organizes it. Crowds of about 10,000 were reported in 2023 and 2025. It has also won Best Event in the reader-voted Best of Gloucester County contest year after year: Main Street Mullica Hill counted eleven straight wins as of 2024.

Parking and getting there

Main Street closes to traffic for the evening. In 2024 the closure ran from about 4 to 10 PM, from Mill Road to the Route 77 split, with no street parking inside it. Free shuttle buses run from municipal and other lots, and the township posts the lots each year. Come early and dress warm.
