The building
The Old Mill went up in the 1880s beside the new railroad, the north gateway to the village. It was G. H. Poinsett's feed store, then a hardware and feed business. On March 19, 1964, a tractor-trailer crashed through the southwest wall. The building has housed the Old Mill Antique Mall since 1967.

Texas-style barbecue smoked over post oak: twelve-hour brisket, pulled pork, ribs and sandwiches like the Cuban and a smoked brisket and ribeye cheesesteak, plus house-made soft serve. It sits inside the historic Old Mill at 1 S. Main Street, an easy stop between antique dealers.
BYOB with glasses provided and no corkage fee. No reservations: seating is first come, first served, and there is a shaded picnic grove outside.
