The building
The old corner store beside the Brick Row, whose houses date to 1771, 1811 and about 1830. E. C. Bunning kept a country store here into the early 1900s. In the late 1940s Izzy Lees and Smiles Kaplan reopened it as L&K Market, the village's first self-service shop.
